Payment Policy

Payment is required in full before your session to confirm and secure your booking. All appointments are scheduled through Acuity Scheduling and processed securely via Stripe. Storing your preferred card during checkout ensures a smooth booking process so we can focus on our work together.

Session Rates and Offerings

Introductory Session

The Foundation Session | 30 Minutes — $50.00 NZD

A dedicated 30-minute introductory call to explore your goals, discuss how somatic sexology can support you, and map out your path forward. (The $50 fee is credited directly toward your first full session).

Individual and Relationship Sessions

Individual Session | 1 hour

$180.00 NZD

Relationship Session | 1 hour 30 mins

$290.00 NZD

Multi-Session Packages

Introductory Bundle | 4 x 60-min Individual Sessions

$550.00 NZD

Relational Bundle | 2 x 60-min Individual + 2 x 90-min Relationship Sessions

Sliding Scale Fee

Financial circumstances should not prevent you from receiving support. There is a limited number of sliding scale slots reserved each month based on individual need and financial capacity.

Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy

24-Hour Notice: Standard booking changes require at least 24 hours' notice.

Short-Notice Changes: Within 24 hours of your appointment, you can reschedule up to 3 hours before the start time via your Acuity booking link or by emailing michaela@desirepathways.co.

Forfeiture: Arriving more than 10 minutes late or missing the rescheduling window results in a forfeited session fee.

Refund Policy: In accordance with the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA), refunds are not provided for a change of mind or personal cancellation.

Provider Cancellations & Technical Issues: If a technical or internet failure lasts more than 15 minutes, your session will be rescheduled at no extra cost. If Desire Pathways cancels due to provider circumstances, you will be offered an immediate priority reschedule or a full 100% refund.
